Henbury Boccia on Doorstep TV

14/04/2016 - julia williams

Doorstep TV is a locally broadcast show that brings sport to the doorstep of Bristolians. The show focuses on grass root level sports throughout the city, with the intention of getting more people active.

Access Sport’s Henbury based Boccia Club was fortunate to be the focus of the show on April 13th. The weekly session, which has been attended by a number of participants, gives all ages and abilities the opportunity to improve their Boccia skills as well as take part in games.

Doorstep TV’s Neil Maggs, Carly Price and Alfred Reynolds came along to see what the session was all about, had a go themselves and spoke to some of the participants on what the club means to them. We would like to thank Doorstep TV for the opportunity of being part of the programme, and showcasing the sessions.

Please take a look at the video below!

The group are always looking for new people to join and become part of the only community based Boccia sessions in Bristol!

For more information please contact Pete Lamb at or get along to the session every Friday at Henbury Leisure Centre.
