Special Olympics – SGS College

SGS College recently hosted another Special Olympics event with over 40 students taking place in a variety of sports. Filton’s wise campus was the venue for the event, Access sports Julia said “it’s fantastic to give so many people an opportunity to use the great facilities here.

In conjunction with The Spectrum Project, the students took part in Rugby, Football, Boccia and Tennis. SportsPound were also instrumental in assisting with what was a wonderful day for all! Lead tutor Darren said “everyone has had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. Events like this are a continual reminder how important sport is for all. We are looking forward to working closely with the college in the near future.
