This page lists accredited training sessions provided by various National Governing Bodies our Country Sport Partnership (WESPORT) and national agencies.Training will develop coaches and officials knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver fully accessible sessions catering for a wide range of disabilities, impairments and chronic health conditions.

Amateur Swimming Association

Four Key Objectives of the ASA's Development Framework for Teaching and Coaching are: 1. Recruit: Recruit the appropriate number of coaches into swimming’s delivery system 2. Train: To qualify the appropriate number and level of coaches required 3. Support: Provide appropriate levels of support to the coaching workforce to allow them to achieve their potential in their chosen environments 4. Retain: To provide systems of recognition and reward in order to retain the coaching workforce

Baseball and Softball UK

Basketball England is dedicated to supporting coaches, tutors and assessors, and to provide opportunities for all those wanting to play, coach, and develop basketball in England.

Boccia Leaders Training

If you would like to support the development of community boccia clubs then this forthcoming course organised by Bristol’s Access Sport project is perfect for you. Boccia is increasingly being played around the country by older adults in care settings and disability sector groups. The game is played in a seated position and the balls can be propelled at the target by hand, foot or using a ramp. British Association of Snowsport Instructors

This Coaching Pathway supersedes all previous coaching or performance qualifications. This is a combined project between BASI, Snowsport Scotland, Snowsport England and Snowsport Wales who will all be offering the same qualifications – same names and same course content.

British Cycling

Effective coaching is at the heart of cycling performance at every level so it doesn’t matter if you want to teach core bike-handling skills to future generations or have aspirations to mentor Great Britain’s elite, British Cycling has a coaching course that will help you achieve your goals.

Canoe England

The BCU provide a comprehensive coaching qualification scheme and coach education programme. BCU Coaching UK is designed to ensure that coaches and participants are fully and properly prepared to take part in the sport and that coaches are qualified to instruct participants in all aspects of technique, safety and understanding. Access to any of the awards within the BCU scheme can be achieved via clubs, centres and coaches affiliated to the BCU UK Coaching Service, if you live in England this is via membership of Canoe England.

CoachWest is Wesport’s coach database and is a vital tool to enable us to support you as a coach. Basic registration takes about 10 minutes and then you can complete the rest fo your profile as and when you wish. English Cricket Board

World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association
