Bath Area Play Project

Bath Area Play Project (B.A.P.P) is a voluntary organisation and registered charity, which provides and promotes quality play opportunities for school age children during school holidays.

British Paralympic Association

We are the British Paralympic Association, or the BPA. As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain, it is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games. This team is known as ParalympicsGB.

Special Olympics GB

Special Olympics Great Britain is designed to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual (learning disabilities), giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of skills, gifts and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Sport England

Sport England is working to increase the number of people who play sport regularly, with the aim to make lives better through sport.

The West of England Sport Trust (WESPORT)

Wesport is one of the 49 County Sport Partnerships across England established to be the strategic lead for sport in the West of England. The West of England covers the Local Authority areas of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Try Active

Try Active aims to help people to get active - especially those from priority areas in Bath and North East Somerset identified through the Fit for Life Strategy as having health inequalities and low levels of participation. The programme uses running, walking, cycling and outdoor fitness to get people participating in sport.
